Ogikubo is on the Chuo and Marunouchi lines, less than 15 minutes west of Shinjuku. Ogikubo is known for its Ramen shops... and has a few really great shoutengai. The house is located near loads of shops, including a Seiyu, 100 yen shop and nice fresh veggies shops. And if you are into it... there a 2 story bouldering gym 5 minutes walk away!
