---AREA---
From Ogikubo use the Chuo and Marunouchi lines, less than 15 minutes west of Shinjuku. Ogikubo is known for its many Ramen shops (including a unique tomato ramen). The area has some really great shopping streets... which include a Seiyu, 100 yen shop, restaurants, jazz bars, cafes and lots of fresh produce/butcher shops. There is also a performing arts theater and park within walking distance, nearby. Nishi-Ogikubo and Kichijouji are also within bicycling distance. And if you are into it... there is a 2-story bouldering gym 5 minutes walk away from the house!
---HOUSE---
After eating Ogikubo’s delicious ramen, head back home and enjoy relaxing in this very classic Japanese style house with huge yard/garden. In the living area one can easily socialize with housemates in a cozy countertop dining bar area and kitchen, or just veg while watching TV on the large projection screen TV. The garden area is also great for spring time BBQs and get-togethers.
---RESIDENTS---
Currently there 2 Japanese girls (tour boat worker and office worker) and 2 Japanese guys (design student and trade company). Everyone is very social, friendly and fun. Everyone speaks English fairly well.
