The new fully renovated Come on UP “Himawari” share house is now open and looking for potential tenants.
The word himawari means sunflower in Japanese and this house got this name because of the amount of natural light that enters the house. The concept of this house is that we want the housemates to grow together like sunflowers in the sun.
The underlying theme that serves as the basis of the furnishing choice is the natural colors which help match the house to the himawari concept. Just like sunflowers, we want to make an environment where people can just peacefully relax all day with their housemates.
The living room is furnished with a sofa, zabutons, and chairs that allow people to comfortably gather and chat and spend time together. The all new bathroom is sparkling white so you can bathe in peace. Each of the five bedrooms is affixed with large windows and some even have balconies so that you can enjoy the warm sunshine. With only five rooms to such a big house, the housemates can form a close-knit community in Himawari.
If you are one of those who want to expand their social circle in Japan and are worried that Himawari doesn’t have enough people, don’t worry because there are two more Come on UP houses in the area. This allows for those that live in the Come on UP Eifukucho area to get together with a larger group of people.
Eifukucho is located in the border between the Suginami and Setagaya so it is very convenient to reach the city center. In the surrounding area there are two stations, Eifukucho Station and Shimotakaido Station, both are a ten minutes’ walk from the share house. Shinjuku, Kichijoji, and Shimokitazawa are also a short train’s ride away. Eifukucho is a quiet neighborhood that is known for its easy-going atmosphere.
Although the shopping district near the share house has a traditional feel to it, it also has new shops mixed in between. It gives the district a unique mix between the new and old. For those that like a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the famous places of Tokyo, for those that want to embrace the concept of growing together with housemates, we recommend Come on UP Eifuku “Himawari” to you.
